News worthy? The criteria that makes any story news worthy is at best a questionable list and even when it attains this lofty title, the media can then decide how the story is told - semantics, censorship and sensationalism. Those ‘real’ human stories of people going missing that are lucky enough to make it to local news level; are often seen to have no place at a national level, unless they become something that has an even more spurious set of credentials, laid down by those in control of mass media and, as a consequence - the masses.


This set of works, although on the surface are unrelated, all fall under the umbrella of those stories worthy of news for the locals, but not for the masses - being either deemed not important enough or too important for the ‘ordinary people’ to know or begin to question.
